1080 BAITING in Reserves and National Parks

Dogs and cats are not permitted into any Department of Parks and Wildlife (DPaW) Reserves or WA National Parks.

Please be advised that baiting programs using 1080 Poison are carried out across Pastoral Leases and Department of Parks and Wildlife (DPaW) reserves and National Parks.

1080 is used to control wild dogs, foxes, feral cats, feral pigs and rabbits. It is lethal to pets.  When travelling through station country and on pastoral leases your pet should be always kept on a lead and under control.
Owners may consider the use of muzzles for their domestic pets if staying for extended times.
