The Shire of Westonia is looking for an individual to fill the role of town maintenance person. The position has a diverse range of duties and responsibilities, therefore requires an individual with a range of skills. The individual with undertake duties that will ensure the upkeep and maintenance of public parks, gardens and reserve assets within the townsite and surrounding area.
This will include the operation of plant and equipment, regular mowing, tree pruning, weed control, and the maintenance and installation of reticulation systems. Skills in basic horticultural techniques, chemical application and handling, verbal and written communication skills and basic construction plant operation and maintenance skills and required.
