This position works to support Council’s Executive Manager of Corporate Services in delivering effective and efficient finance functions and is responsible for supervising the Finance and Customer Service Team. Council’s Corporate Services Department is a supportive, dynamic and innovative team that strives to provide excellent and timely service to customers and to continuously improve its functions through digitisation and streamlining of processes and procedures.

The successful applicant will demonstrate experience in areas such as monthly balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting, bank reconciliations, GST and FBT administration, as well as leadership qualities and a teamwork mindset. High attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to provide high-level customer service to both internal and external clients is essential.
