An Intimate Morning of Song with Those Folk.
When a Louisiana man and a Queensland lady fall in love and merge their musical influences, you’re met with the diverse and colourful sound of ‘Those Folk.’ Lawrence Menard and Clare Quinn are songwriters and song collectors who sing together and perform on a variety of instruments.
Their eclectic concerts feature original love songs, as well as nostalgic songs you know and love from artists such as The Beatles, Joni Mitchell, Simon& Garfunkel, Peter Paul & Mary, Cat Stevens, and Eva Cassidy. They have filled town halls in Queensland with captive audience members who become lifelong fans through their songs, stories, and presence.
As well as regular performances on the Australian festival circuit, Those Folk have recently graced the historical stage of Brisbane City Hall. In 2025, they look forward to expanding their horizons and bringing their music to the grand theatre stages of Australia.
Morning tea will be served from 10.30am and the concert will start at 11.00am.
Morning tea included in the ticket price!
