DESCRIPTION:Big Yellow Mining presents the Pipeline Challenge in support of Youth Futures. Proceeds from the event will benefit Youth Futures’ homelessness programs\, including The Nest\, which provides young parents and their babies with a safe place to call home. \nJoin us on 29 April 2026 for an epic five-day\, 600 km mountain bike adventure that will see you and your teammates trace the iconic golden pipeline from Kalgoorlie to the Perth hills. Simply get a team of 2-5 riders together and aim to raise $2\,500 each before setting off from Kalgoorlie. The money you raise will make a huge difference to the lives of disadvantaged young West Australians who are supported by the local charity Youth Futures. \nYour epic ride begins in Kalgoorlie\, located 594 km east of Perth. Made famous in the late 1800’s when prospectors Paddy Hannan\, Tom Flanagan and Dan O’Shea discovered gold\, the rest is history! Who knows you could be riding over a small fortune as you make your way from Kalgoorlie to the Perth hills. Spread across the first Wednesday and Thursday in September\, the Newdegate Machinery Field Days is an event that keeps our committee busy all year round and our community busy in the weeks leading up to our event.
