SUMMARY:Merredin You Are A Doughnut
DESCRIPTION:  \nBook Now \nFrom the creators of the multi-award-winning The Alphabet of Awesome Science comes a brand new biological-musical-comedy-adventure ‘You Are A Doughnut’ — that explores the ins and outs of the human digestive system. \nYOU are a doughnut! It’s true! YOU are a great big fleshy lump with a remarkable hole running all the way through your middle — your digestive system. \nJoin biology teachers Oesoph A. Gus and Dewey Dean as they embark upon an utterly brilliant all-singing\, all-dancing (and all-clowning!) exploration of every twisting tube and remarkable organ — with sketches\, songs\, and sensational science. Along the way you’ll encounter a frenzy of enzyme – powered ping pong balls\, sing along with a rainbow collection of poop puppets\, and witness the weirdest poetry performance you’ve ever seen. \nIt’s a fast-paced variety hour\, with each new digestive destination inspiring a wonderfully unusual performance. It’s a little bit gross — and a ‘hole’ lotta fun! (You might even learn ‘Science at the Fringe Award’ something…). \nTickets $10 available in Person at Central Wheatbelt Visitor Centre or online \n

SUMMARY:Beverley 21 Hearts
DESCRIPTION:Theatre 180 returns to the Beverley stage with a compelling true story of the celebration of women’s strength\, love and hope in the face of adversity. \nWritten by Jenny Davis. Directed by Stuart Halusz. Featuring Caitlin Beresford-Ord\, Rebecca Davis\, Michelle Fornasier\, Alex Jones\, Helen Searle and Alison van Reeken. \nVivian Bullwinkel was one of 65 Australian nurses who boarded the Vyner Brooke in an attempt to flee the Japanese invasion of Singapore in February\, 1942. Bombed by Japanese fighter planes and after spending days at sea\, she and some other survivors found their way to Radji Beach on Banka Island where they surrendered. In one of the most atrocious acts of war crimes in our history\, 22 nurses were forced to march into the sea where they were callously machine gunned. The only survivor and witness\, Vivian spent the rest of the war in a prison camp before liberation\, and her remaining years fighting for recognition of the bravery of her friends and colleagues. \nTickets available online

SUMMARY:Merredin Diesel\, By Request
DESCRIPTION:Following the Bootleg Melancholy Tour\, DIESEL is set to head out around the country once again with his inimitable voice\, a pallet of guitars and a double bass for DIESEL\, BY REQUEST. \nA show where the audience plays an integral role in reaching every corner of Diesel’s 3+ decade catalogue of songs\, forming the set list for the night – they decide on the song choices making for a night of music ‘requested’ by the audience. \nHow it works… \nFrom a list of songs posted prior through Diesel’s socials\, the audience make their song selections and provide a short comment.  On the night\, Diesel will then formulate his set list based on these requests\, making each night a bespoke experience for both audience and performer. \nSong choices to select from span from the first album Johnny Diesel & The Injectors (1989) all the way through to Bootleg Melancholy (2023) along with some eclectic cover picks from the artists that have shaped Diesel’s career. \n“It’s always fascinating to me the songs that resonate with people and why.  Ultimately\, the process of writing and recording is a lonely experience\, but it ends up being anything but that once a song is released into the world.  These shows give me a chance to connect directly to that “cause and affect”\, I love hearing a listener’s anecdotal account of how a song has impacted their journey” – DIESEL \nWith a career spanning over 3 decades\, 17 albums\, 100+ million streams\, 6 ARIA awards and 2\,000+ live shows\, Diesel knows how to “bring it” to a room\, and BY REQUEST is the ultimate opportunity for him to celebrate with his audience\, the hours\, minutes and miles that have made an enduring artist\, and the soundtrack to so many of our lives. \nVIP PRESHOW SOUNDCHECK\n30 May 2025 09:00 until 20 Sep 2025 22:00 $ 149.45 \nA RESERVED SEATING\n30 May 2025 09:00 until 20 Sep 2025 22:00 $ 99.45 \nB RESERVED SEATING\n30 May 2025 09:00 until 20 Sep 2025 22:00 $ 89.25 \nC RESERVED SEATING\n30 May 2025 09:00 until 20 Sep 2025 22:00 $ 79.05 \nBook Online

To date\, he has played in 100 countries and on 80 cruises of Cunard and P&O (UK) ships.  He has been soloist with many orchestras around the world and played in over 50 countries between 1984 and the pandemic through US Embassies as a kind of “cultural ambassador”.  When he was younger he was a prizewinner in ten international and national piano competitions. \nHe has made 23 tours in Australia since his first one in 1979–with performances in every State and in the NT—from the Sydney Opera House to many regional cities\, country towns\, and Outback communities.  He did the Australian premiere performance in 1993 of the then-recently-discovered Liszt Concerto No.3 in E Flat (1989) as soloist with the SBS Yourh Orchestra in the Sydney Town Hall. The SBS made a documentary of thuz\, featuring the performance\, calling it “Discovering Liszt”\, and broadcast it over their TV network. \nRoman Rudnytsky has over the years played many concerts in WA:  at most of the Circuit West theatres and for many local arts councils and also recitals directly organized by several Shires. \nHe has played recitals at the Cummins Theatre several times on past tours. \nHis recital on this occasion is part of his 24th Australian tour—taking place from late September to mid-November. \nTickets $15 – $25 available online or in person at Central Wheatbelt Visitor Centre.
