Please note: This itinerary is subject to changes depending on the type of rail travel chosen. It can be extended to a two night three day visit or even longer.

Car hire is available in Merredin and station pick up's can be arranged.
No Taxi service is available.

Two nights - Three days Wildflower Tour

Day1 - Monday or Wednesday

8:55am

Depart East Perth Train Station

12:10pm

Arrive in Merredin. Have a Cafe lunch; then settle into your accommodation.

4:10pm

Be at your accommodation to join the Discover the Wheatbelt Town Tour.

6:00pm

You will be dropped back at your accommodation around this time. Enjoy an evening meal at a local cafe or accommodation. 

Day 2 - Tuesday or Thursday

8:00am

Be ready for a pick up from your accommodation. You are about to enjoy the half day wildflower tour with Discover the Wheatbelt Tours. Morning tea is provided on the tour.

12:30pm

Return to Merredin to enjoy a cafe lunch and explore the town. Visit the Military Museum (open 10:00am - 3:00pm).

Day 3 - Wednesday or Friday

Enjoy a leisurely morning. Visit the Railway Museum (open from 10:00am - 1:00pm)

12:30pm

Be at Merredin Railway Station to join the Merredin Link Train departing at 1:05pm.

4:15pm

Arrive back at East Perth Train Station

Two Days/One Night Wildflower Tour

Day one - Tuesday or Thursday

7:10am    

Depart East Perth Station on Prospector Rail Service.

10:23am

Arrive in Merredin. Settle into your accommodation. Have a cafe lunch and explore the town. Visit the Military Museum (Open 10:00am to 3:00pm) and the Railway Museum (Open 10:00am to 1:00pm).

4:30pm

Be at your accommodation to join the Discover the Wheatbelt town tour.

6:00pm

You will be dropped back at your accomoodation around this time. Enjoy an evening meal at a local restaurant or at your accommodation.

Day two - Wednesday or Friday

8.00am  

Have your suitcase packed and be ready for a pick up from your accommodation. You are about to enjoy the half day wildflower tour with Discover the Wheatbelt Tours. Morning tea is provided.

12.30pm

You will be dropped off at the Merredin Railway Station to join the Merredin Link Train; departing at 1:10pm

4:15pm

Arrive back at East Perth Station.
