230km south-east of Perth
Corrigin is a popular stopover when visiting Hyden's Wave Rock and the seasonal wildflowers of the area. Located three and a half hours' drive east of Perth, Corrigin is a very attractive, tidy Wheatbelt town.
Corrigin is widely known as a 'Town of Windmills' due to the abundant supply of ground water. Almost every home had a windmill until 1960 when the town was supplied with scheme water.
Tour the surrounding countryside during wildflower season and enjoy the wonder of these beautiful plants. The Corrigin Museum provides a link with the past in its display of early Australian farm machinery. Visit the Corrigin Dog Cemetery, an unusual pet cemetery dedicated to man's best friend.
